In order to fully benefit from your cable Ultimate Speed Internet access, it is necessary to use equipment that will allow you to meet the following requirements:

- * We only provide technical support for the above-described operating systems. However, connection to another systems notably Linux, most Unix systems, Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT & Mac OS 9 / 10.x is possible.
- (1) Recommended wired connection: the most reliable way to connect the components of a local network is the Ethernet connection, more commonly referred to as RJ45. The routers used to share access between several computers should have sufficiently fast Ethernet ports, i.e. 100 Mbps (100BaseT) or 1 Gbps (1000BaseT).
- Wireless connection: although slower than wire connection, wireless access meeting standard 802.11g (minimum) is preferable.
- The USB 2.0 standard allows speeds available under Windows environment, but it is preferable to use a dedicated network port.
- (2) A 56-Kbps modem is recommended to take advantage of the Internet telephone service. Our equipment is compatible with V.90 technology.
