- What is call display?

This option lets you save precious time and make substantial savings because you only answer the calls you want.
- Does the name and the number of the person calling appear on the screen?

The name of the caller appears only if it is entered in your phone's contact list. If not, only the number appears.
- Does call display work in the US or elsewhere in the world?

In the US, the number of the person trying to reach you appears most of the time. It appears rarely when abroad. If it is displayed, it is in international dialling mode, which lets you call back without having to redial the entire sequence.
Voice Mail
- Am I charged for messages left on my voice mail?

You are only charged airtime when you retrieve your messages. Long-distance charges apply if you check your messages outside your local calling area.
- Can I record a personal greeting for my voice mail?

Yes, you can quickly create a personal greeting to inform your callers on your availability or anything else. You can also choose a standard greeting.
Enhanced Voice Mail
- What is the main advantage of enhanced voice mail?

Call Forwarding
- What is call forwarding?

Call forwarding lets you forward your calls to any number when you're travelling outside your local calling area or you can't answer your phone.
- Are there any long-distance charges for call forwarding?

There are no long-distance charges when calls are forwarded within your local calling area. If you forward your calls outside your local calling area, long-distance charges will apply.
Detailed Billing
- How can I get access to the details of my wireless phone bill?

When you subscribe to detailed billing, you receive a detailed explanation of your usage (voice and data) with the date, time, and duration of calls along with any related charges.

Additional Block of Minutes
- Can I add minutes to my current package?

You can customize your package to suit your needs by adding minutes to your basic package. Just subscribe to an additional block of minutes (starting at 6.7¢/minute).
- Does the Share Package include the sharing of options?

It depends on the options. Additional block of minutes, call forwarding, long-distance plans, text messaging and wireless Internet are options that are shared by all users. Call display and voice mail are options specific to each user.
- Can I carry my unused minutes over to the next month?

No, unused minute cannot be carried over to the next month.
Quebec LD 50
- What is the Quebec LD 50 option?

Long-distance calls within Quebec are usually billed at 30¢ per minute. But with Quebec LD 50, you get 50 long-distance minutes within Quebec each month for only $5 per month - only 10¢ per minute. Additional minutes are billed at 30¢ per minute.

Long-distance calls within Canada and the US are usually billed at 30¢ per minute. With Canada/USA LD 125, you get 125 long-distance minutes to Canada and the US for only $10 per month - only 8¢ per minute. Additional minutes are billed at 30¢ per minute.

Text Messaging
- Can I send a text message to someone who is not subscribed to Vidéotron Wireless service?

Yes, text messages can be exchanged between any telecommunication company in North America and many other countries.
- Can I send text messages when I am abroad?

Absolutely! In the US, messaging works the same way than in your local calling area. Worlwide, just add the "+" sign before your recipient's number and area code. A phone number located in Montreal would look like this: +1514XXXXXXX.
- Can I receive text messages if my wireless phone is switched off or if I am outside my local calling area?

Yes. You will receive a notice as soon as you switch your phone back on or when you are back in the local calling area. Messages are stored for a maximum of 72 hours.
Multimedia Messaging
- What is multimedia messaging?

Multimedia messaging lets you exchange pictures or short videos taken with your wireless phone or downloaded to your phone.
- Can I send a multimedia message to someone who is not subscribed to Vidéotron Wireless service?

All users on the Canadian wireless network can exchange multimedia messages. If your recipient's phone includes the multimedia messaging function, they will be able to view the picture or video, and hear sound from their wireless phone. If they do not have the multimedia messaging function, they will receive a link giving them access to the message's content over the Web.
- Can I send text messages when I am abroad?

Yes, if your recipient uses a Canadian wireless network. All users on the Canadian wireless network can exchange multimedia messages.
Wireless Internet / Canada and the US
- What speed of data transmission can I get?

The data transmission speed is similar to a 56 k modem. This speed varies depending on the model of your phone, your geographical location and network activity.
The tranmission speed of EDGE devices are three times faster than normal GPRS devices.
- Can I receive a call when I'm surfing the Web?

Yes. Your Internet session will be paused during the length of the call. When you're finished, you can just pick up where you left off.
