A switched service designed to meet the most stringent requirements

Videotron's Layer 2 Virtual Private Network is a switched service based on a point-to-point or point-to-multi-point network topology. The solution can be delivered on the same fibre access as your Internet service with transmission speeds of up to 1000 Mbps.

Classes of Service

Videotron offers you a choice of various Classes of Service:

  • L2 VPN service based on Ethernet Relay Service (ERS) technology from Cisco, similar to ATM-based point-to-point service
  • L2 VPN service based on Ethernet Wire Service (EWS) technology from Cisco, also known as "QinQ"
