Website migration

The most efficient way to copy your files to our new server is to use an FTP program.

1. Connect to your existing website via FTP
2. Download all files and sub-directories onto your PC *If you have a database, a migration specialist will assist you in migrating your database
3. Log-on to our new server via FTP
   • FTP Server: yourdomain.com
   • Username: yourdomain.com
   • Password: the administration password provided to you by our migration specialist
4. Upload the content from step 2 to our new server.

If you do not have an FTP client, you can also connect using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

1. Type the following in the address bar : ftp://yourdomain.com@yourdomain.com
2. A window will prompt you for the following information
   • Username: yourdomain.com
   • Password: the administration password provided to you by our migration specialist
